Studio
Voxel Forge designs and produces precision 3D-printed sculptural objects from a single location in India. Each object begins as a geometric model, built specifically for how light moves through and around it. The model is printed once, finished by hand, and issued in a fixed edition.
Geometry first
Design begins with a light source and the object's optical relationship to it. Geometry is the primary decision, not a consequence of it. Form, shadow, translucency, and edge condition are all resolved in the model before the object has a material.
Material as decision
The studio maintains a defined material vocabulary, chosen for how each material reads under interior light and holds its geometry over time. Material selection is not procurement; it is design. The vocabulary is narrow by intention: thoroughly understood rather than broadly sampled.
Edition discipline
Each object is produced in a fixed edition. The edition size is set before production begins and does not change. When an edition closes, the geometry does not re-enter production in a variant finish, a scaled version, or an adjusted form.
Single studio
Design, production, finishing, and quality review take place within the studio. No fabrication is outsourced. The studio's involvement does not end at the print bed.
The layer height is 0.16 mm. That figure is not an approximation; it is a record, consistent across every object that leaves the studio.
