The studio stands behind every piece it ships.
Damaged or defective on arrival
If a piece arrives damaged or with a manufacturing defect, report to the studio within 14 days of delivery. Contact the studio before returning the piece: include the reason and clear photographs of both the piece and its packaging.
Once the claim is confirmed, the studio arranges and covers return shipping. The piece is replaced, or a full refund is issued to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days of the confirmed decision.
Change of mind
Pieces held in stock may be returned for change of mind within 14 days of delivery. The piece must be unused and in its original packaging, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. A full refund is issued to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days of the studio receiving and inspecting the returned piece. Where a returned piece arrives back damaged through the customer's handling or with components missing, the studio may apply a partial refund at its discretion.
Made-to-order pieces are produced for a specific order and are not returnable for change of mind. This does not affect the damaged-or-defective terms above, which apply to every piece.
Exclusions
A return is not accepted where the piece shows:
- Manual or accidental breakage by the owner.
- Misuse or abuse.
- Electrical fault arising from owner use, including damage from a non-conforming bulb or fitting.
- Damage from use outside the conditions stated on the Care · Cleaning page: indoor use only, away from heat sources and direct sun, not sustained above approximately 50°C. For Série II pieces, the bulb limits also apply: warm LED at 3000 Kelvin, up to 8 watts, with clearance preserved between the bulb and the shade.
Atelier pieces
Atelier pieces are made to an agreed brief and are not returnable. The terms governing a commissioned piece are set in the commission agreement entered at the start of the process. Insurance for commissioned pieces is arranged per commission.
Cancellation
An order placed but not yet dispatched may be cancelled by contacting the studio. A full refund is issued to the original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.
How to start a return
Contact the studio via the contact page with the reason for the return and photographs of the piece. Do not ship the piece before the studio confirms the return.
On confirmation, the studio provides the return address and any further instructions.
